Movies are the shit. Besides entertainment, they give a taste of reality to many of our "what if" questions. They also give us good depictions of historical events or bring pieces of literature to life.

I agree, movies are bullshit.
I have often thought movie stars were over paid and wondered how and why they make so much but I have come to realize that the only way they can entice someone to do such a horrible meaningless job is to pay them huge amounts of money. I'm sure actors realize how useless they are but some people can deal with that and are willing to sacrifice their self worth for money and fame but it takes a certain type of person and i'm sure those people are thankfully hard to come by.

But c'mon dude. What is your issue? Movies, or the amount of money that actors get paid (or just actors in general)? How can anyone not like movies? That's like saying, "Oh i don't like music. A musician is great and is doing something but I would rather watch someone who can play music doing it than watch an actor pretend he can play music, I guess that is why I like documentarys or reality tv if I am going to waste my time watching something. Movies are stupid, an actor is a waste, what a useless way to spend your time, at least a janitor can sleep well at night knowing he has done something and accomplished something.
