i would have been mortified if that happened to me at that age.
and i can always act like i'm contemplating more serious routes of action with him tied up. stand over him and ask him if he knows what an adz is, tell him how sharp i like to keep mine. tell him i'm going into the house to get it and ask if he knows what lime and salt in an open wound feel like. walk inside, call the cops, but come out with limes, salt, and the adz.
that 5 minutes until the cops show up will be the longest 5 minutes of his life![]()
