Moving to Texas...any tips?

Drove to Tuscon From Fl, stopped THREE times in San Antonio by border cops. One was a cute female, seem receptive to flirting. This was in 1983. Lived in Beaumont 1 yr. in 1980. Hot, humid. Lots of good paying jobs then. People bout same as anywhere else.

When I went on my motorcycle trip, it took me two days of hard riding to cross the state. Day one, Beaumont to Eagle Pass via Victoria and Beeville. (Much time spent crossing the Houston area and spending a coupla hours at the JSC.) Day 2, Eagle Pass to El Paso and on to Alamogordo. My ass still remembers. cn
