how would you like $1,000 a week for the rest of your life

this dude is about to walk on graduation and he just wont a thousand dollars a week for the rest of his life. he's only 18 and got a scatch off ticket, kick ass thing is he didnt quite his day job.

so what would you do with the same money he's getting.

direct deposite and a home after about 6 months of saving and then play it by ear.

1000 a week, in Ca barely enough to live on. I wouldn't quit my job either, that is if I had one. Stay high.

Those type usualy have a cap if you read the fine print but still good for him. I play all the time and won 250k in march of 07 in the mega millions. Five numbers with no bonus ball. Had I had the darn bonus ball I would have won 80mill .. Not a day goes by that I dont play because people win I am proof.

07 is a long time ago but man what a feeling. Funny part of the story is I was on vacation when I bought it and put it in the sunvisor. I checked the next day and no one won so I never looked at the ticket. I had not idea there was such a high second place prize. Three months later I am cleaning the truck and went inside and checked it. Boom was crazy. So bottom line is I had 250k dollars in my truck for three months. I dont lock it, I leave it wide open pretty much, live in nice area, Crazy stuff

Lucky young man, I hope he plans to go to college on that money, that should really help tuition & book fees. Get a degree in whatever he wants to get one in, regardless if it's gonna get him a job in the end. lol
Where I live, my mortgage alone would take 2 weeks of payments, so that would suck. In my fantasy land I would travel the world if $4G a month would allow for both travelling & keeping the residence in my name & everything running lol.
It seems like a great amount of money until you start calculating how much everything costs these days, between rent/mortgage, car payments, gas, maintenance & insurance, utilities, food, clothing & light enterainment, it just flys outta your pocket a billion times faster than we can make the money & put it back in the pocket...at least here in so Cal. lol
