Why are humans so natural to resist everything?

how high do flys even fly? Im not sure but Id be freaked out if I saw one on my airplane window

Why are we so resistant?One could say change and the fear of it,I see that as pretty reasonable,But it could also be related to the idea,that we dont really know what we want as well,we just think that we do IMO.We are so freeeking crazy,us humans.We are resistant towards making certain choices that could benefit us in the long run,but we are most concerned with the now or whats right in front of us and what can be determined close to immediately.
