i have a few..
go to the chinese buffet.. stay for a month..
see a drive in movie from the trunk of a car and save the entrance fees for something better..
go to the drag races in the trunk of a car, again, get in for free..
go to a convienence store, fill up a fountain soda.. drink said fountain soda.. call the wife and kids, have them drink from said soda.. refill.. go the cash register and pay for one soda..
if you smoke, roll your own cig's.. pay about $1 a pack doing so..
take public transportation when and where you can

like cannabineer said, avoid using cc's like the flu.. 20% interest rates rack up very quickly.. if you can't pay cash for it, wait and save up until you're at a point where you can..
shop at the bigger stores like sams club and bj's, buy in bulk and put up the extra's and use when needed..

your mobile phone should come with an all you can eat data plan. it will be just as fast as home broadband in some cases faster. you can set it up with two clicks to become a portable wi-fi hotspot anywhere in the world. it is safer.

if not still in contract cancel home broadband and use phone. more than one machine can use the connection if need be.
