What is the most altered state of mind you've ever had?

And how did it happen?

Did you take a massive amount of drugs and just ride it out, did your best friend commit suicide and you've never gotten over the grief, did you have a profound religious experience, did your wife deliver a healthy child? What was it? Tell me!

Mine had to be this time I took a double dose of MDMA. I had gone through the connect before, so I knew how powerful it was and what to expect. I was at my house and my ex girlfriend asked me to come over for something, I forgot what it was, but it was something at the time I estimated would take 25-30 minutes, and having experienced the exact makeup of the MDMA before, I knew it would likely hit me in 35 minutes! So, having 2 pills left, the pills being the capsule sized everyday rx type prescriptions you'd find housing most medications, I don't remember the exact weight, but it was a considerable amount, but not enough for two separate trips, so I thought "fuck it, let's take em both and see what happens" (knowing it wouldn't be enough to OD). Turned out to be the best experience ever! I was juuuust about to leave her house and it started to kick in. Normally I'd like to be around people when tripping, but I knew I was in for a ride, so I decided to say goodbye and take off. The drive, I will never forget. I live 3 blocks from her house, but it seemed like pure bliss. Like I was riding on the most silky road you could imagine. I was totally aware and completely under control of my motor functions, if you've ever taken MDMA you know it's a lot different from other substances. I reach my house and trip my balls off for the next 2 hours. I remember just laying down and enveloping in my blankets, being the absolute most comfortable experience of my life, so soft, like I was snuggling into a spot meant for me. It's impossible to sleep when your mind is racing so fast, so I just laid there for an hour to ride out the most pronounced effects. And it was absolutely amazing. Possibly rivals the time the shit WOKE ME UP! lol. Good times...

i saw a woman cut in half, literally. gave me ptsd. brain kicked itself and caused me to hear a voice. didn't scare me, i knew there was no one in the house. i knew it was in my head. voice just said "sunny". heard it 3 different times. ever hear your brain say your name? pretty trippy.

Super clean doses, started listening to phychedelic breakfast by pink floyd. Well, I left.my buddy at my house and laid in.the weeds listening.to.trains pass.by. Thays when I thought the cops eere coming to rape me. I got away and walked towards my gf at the times place. That's when I realized I was Buddha, Jesus and Mohamed. I actual puked in the road at that point, that's heavy shit to ponder. I thought if I went to the payphone and dialed l-o-v-e into the phone she would come and get me. Who knows how many times I tried that. So I walked home, past the trooper washing his car at 7am, gave a guy nod and looked like shit. All the while still buzzing like I was the cause of.the Earths revolutions.

What?! How did that happen? What did you make of the voice? Did you think it was the woman? What did it sound like? Did you realize it was in your head and you rationalized it as such or did you question your sanity?

lol its ok, it is interesting actually.
was an industrial accident, she was cut in half at the waist. all the way thru, as in 2 pieces.
the company sent those who saw it to therapy (emdr works wonders btw)
about 5 months later i was alone in our house, just me and the dog and cat when i heard my name. you'd think it would startle you but it didn't bother me. i did however know that was not normal.
long story short, went to a shrink who said it was the brains way of kickig itself out of the traumatic cycle it was in and pretty much normal. when the brain suffers a trauma (doesn't have to be a physical trauma like a blow etc) it releases many chemicals and does all kinds of amazing things. it's really very intereting imo

that was over 10 years ago and i can still see her.

When I was in high school... I was known as the fry guy... did a lot of acid. So I dropped 4 hits, while I was waiting for them to kick in I smoked some coco puffs (weed sprinkled with coke), drank a few beers, and did a line. This was typical for about a year until I started to have bad trip after bad trip. Got to a point that every time I smoked a bowl I felt like I was on acid. Had to quit smoking weed, it took about 10 yrs for me to be able to smoke a bowl without having a bad trip. Needless ti say no more phsycadelics for me. Stay high.
