I hate to jack this thread but i figured a lot of gear heads might be reading the thread so here goes. I had a thief that jumped over the security fence at my business for 3 weekends straight. First, he stole little things of almost no value then, he ramped up to more expensive items like several hand tools (shovels, rakes, picks etc.) including a spare gas can with 5 gal. of unleaded in it. Friday evening, before I locked the place up and turned on the apparently useless security system, I left him a special "gift". I took a old gas can that had dirt and other contaminants settled in the bottom to which I added: 1.5 gal. of common household bleach, 1 quart of transmission fluid, a double handfull of metal filings from the work bench, 1 gal of unleaded gas (so that it least smelled like gas) and the rest with tap water. I marked the gas can with a sharpie pen "premium unleaded only!" and left it at a convenient spot for him to take without. much risk of detection.
My question is this, will this combination of special "additives" stop him dead in his tracks and ruin his vehicle? I've heard the rumors regarding sugar ( its a myth folks) and I want to cause sudden, catastrophic damage to whatever piece of shit he drives. Since bleach is a extremely active and rapid oxidizer I figured it would do serious damage to his fuel tank, fuel lines and hopefully his cat. converter. is there something better (or worse if you are the thief) that I could have put in the can? No guesses please...

    I'm just busting his balls

My work truck is actually a Ford f-150
Got it from my dad , he had it since the late 90's
he had to put a new engine in 6 or so years back. I'm at 167,000 miles and its running smooth

But if it needs any repairs that cost $1,500 or more I'm just going to go get a new truck (Dodge or Chevy)

down here everyone drives toyota. i have a hilux. best pickup truck i've ever had. used to have a ram 2500 but it's just too big. i wanted to get the new tundra when it came out but where i live you can't drive big trucks like that. no parking, some of the turns in town are impossible, just an overall pain. the hilux is pretty badass. i pimped mine out. emu suspension, warn winch, snorkel, chip on the engine, roof rack, ipf fog lights, reverse lights, rain beams, and flood lights, etc... love that truck.
