i think the fact that the incident in the op happened in oakland of all places is very disturbing. oakland has a lot of crime, and there are people who don't get service from the police because the crime is not severe enough and they have bigger fish to fry. no fucking way they would put that many resources into tracking a stolen car radio in the ghetto, so wtf is so special about some spoiled cop's son's iphone? i wonder if the kid goes to public school. if he does, i'm sensing a lot of anti-spoiled brat sentiment in his future.
