I guess if you're a creeper this deep web stuff would be cool lol.
Have any of you ever checked out the deep web? a friend told me about it, and it is crazy. you have to download a TOR browser to access it. I only went on a hand full of times, just to see what kind of stuff there is. I only went to one site called the hidden wiki, it has links to certain sites for what ever kind of black market trade you need. people buy and sell drugs, I saw a site that was supposedly a hitman for hire, you can convert dollars into their currency called bitcoins to buy these services. If you get curious and check it out, find the link to the hidden wiki before you start the tor browser so you can just copy and paste, it will be a string of numbers followed by .onion. I've been told to stick to the hidden wiki because it's very easy to stumble upon kiddie porn, which is clearly labeled on the hidden wiki. TOR browsers are supposedly anonymous, but i've been told that unless you set up extra means of security, which is why I didn't go on anymore than I needed to quench my curiosity.
ok wait explain this better.....is this a program or a browser that is the only browser able to access this cache of secret websites or what i dont get it ??

Okay. lol Here's the breakdown...
You know those domain names? Like .com and .org? Those are known as Top Level Domains and they are part of the official Domain Name System. But other domains can be created, not part of the official Domain Name System, as the .onion domain was. These pseudo top level domains have their own way of conducting their networking. The .onion domain only accepts traffic from TOR network nodes. Nodes are just connection points for data in the network. The TOR network employs a sophisticated method of data encryption and communication known as Onion Routing. TOR stands for The Onion Router. Data is continuously encrypted and then sent through the TOR network nodes.
TOR alone is not a complete solution, but it is a singular method of security that the FBI has failed many many times to crack.![]()
