Damn, that is a nice piece of glass.

On the opposite end, many years back I had a chance to play with Nikon's 8mm (i think?) fisheye. 220 degree view - actually saw behind itself.

Trippy.

I recall in the 80s, Leica was promoting their 300 2.8

$$$$$ - but every one included a higher end Volkswagen to cart it around. LOL. Nicest lens case I ever heard of.

haha thats pretty sweet all i have is a shitty 28-90mm for my EOS Rebel 35mm

i was just at a camera store today that was goin out of buisness and there cheapest fish eye was 600 and thats 30% off ive been tryin to find one for my d80 for a while now. fisheyes may not be versatile but when you get a good shot its definitly worth it

That cam isnt shitty! That was my first really good cam. I took some of the best pics ever with it!!!!!
Now I have a rebel xti dslr... Nice upgrade if you wanna go digital!!

Yeah i wanted to go digital right away but i needed 35mm for my film class...but i guess you gotta learn the basics first

Yeah - I got to use that fisheye for part of a day from one of the Nikon sales reps. No way could I afford even a used one.

Like the Canon telephoto, it was a lens they only built when someone ordered it. I recall it was in the $20-30,000 range.
