    Default Stoner Jobs

    I searched the forums, but was surprised to see that this thread didn't already exist!

    I'm wondering what a lot of the RIU users do for a living. I know some of you grow as a full time job, but I'm looking more for the people who get up go to work, come home and toke up. Not necessarily in that order though

    Also what job do you guys think is best for somebody who does smoke? I currently work at a grocery store making min wage, and want to know what other possibilities there are for a younger stoner.
    I wish I could go so far away Where time moves too slow day after day I'll wait and I'll sit and watch the clouds As they go by.

    meh wal mart, other grocery stores and security. Lots of stoners work at these kinds of jobs, get an apartment and grow. You won't need any other job. But minimum wage here is 10.30 an hour so you don't exactly starve at all or anything

    I use to do overnight stocking at walmart lol.

    Here 7.35 an/hr. is min. wage...

    Yeah, I'm at 7.3 too. But I get a .15 raise in a couple weeks! lol

    I actually love working in a kitchen. I was a food runner and a waiter for a while and it was great. I have considered getting my culinary certification, because I also enjoy cooking. I just get cold feet when it comes to school, because that's a lot of debt when you don't know if you will like that career!

    When you say Chef? I was in the trenches for many years. held titles as Banquet Chef and sous chef. I find when people post as Chef they mean cook. Just wondering..

    I mean cook, I never said chef. I'm a huge Bourdain fan, I know the difference!

    Also, as an addendum to my last post, I get paid $7.3/hr get paid weekly and have to pay $10/check for my union dues... that's what you get for working in a Safe Way though! lol
