Will work for WEED?
Had to share this one.
So my In-Laws take my daughter (10 year old) to San Fransisco for 3 days. They went to the Exploratorium, the beach, Pier 39 and so on.
Yesterday she is telling me this story:
Keep in mind, I just finished a round of the IOLITE about 20 mins earlier.
"Hey dad, there was this guy sitting on the corner holding a sign". I'm thinking it probably says, will work for food or homeless need food God Bless. She says nope, "Need Money For Weed". She has no idea what that means. I look over at my wife and we just start busting up. I ask her to say it again. "Need Money For Weed". I start busting up and can't stop. This goes on for about the next 5 mins and it's over.
Now I start thinking. The guys being straight up honest and to the point. If it was me, I think I would have donated $5 or so for the cause. It's better than the guy asking for gas money all day bringing in more money than me then going out and buying beer.
When I'm stoned I get pretty creative with things. I'm just imagining this stoned bum dude making a two story thing out of boxes or some kind of duplex with in/out ventilation. Or finding some bricks and making a chimney with a built in bbq pit.
If you walked past this guy what would you have done?
Doing my best with my room waaaaayyyyy out there in the not so insulated, non powered shop, being fed with a big fat extension cord.
we drove past this guy standing by the edge of a turn off to a highway with a sign that said "Tell you a joke for a buck"
He looked pretty scary though hahahaha.
A couple days ago I saw some hitchhikers and we were on the way to the beach with five joints to smoke there and I was thinking how I woulda thrown them one if I had thought of it at the time

Champagne for my real friends, real pain for my sham friends
One time I was going to a concert in Camden new jersey which is a really fucked up area and we didn't want to pay twenty bucks to park in the parking lot. We parked six blocks down from the center at a train station and got out to walk to the concert. This homeless guy comes running up to me "if you guys are going to the concert don't go that way you'll get robbed just go this way don't get off the road and go straight the entrance will be on your right".
Dude was actually right and he asked for five bucks for chicken fingers and I straight up told him. Dude you don't gotta lie to me I know your gonna spend it on drugs but that's totally cool cause that's what I'm gonna spend it on so I gave him four bucks I had in my pocket. Shit was hilarious I was 18 white and skinny fist bumpin a crackhead in Camden, lol good times.
If only I ran into him after I came out of the show I really coulda used his help then. We were tripping balls lost in Camden at two in the morning with no idea what direction the car was. I was never so damn happy to find a car in my life I ran up to it and hugged it lol.
