Does anyone have any experience with minors(13) getting busted for PI on weed? My son has gone and fucked up.

When I was 13 I was getting drunk and smoking weed daily. Granted, I wouldn't want my kid doing it at that age; but I'd be a hypocrite if I tried to stop him from living a little.

That's why I'll never have kids. All parents are hypocrites.

As for getting busted.. talk some sense into him and give him pointers on staying on the down low. =D

I would think they would investigate the home. better clean up.

I'm an underwriter for a bail office... I wouldnt worry if it's just public intox... In fact he's probably gunna get a slap on the wrist if this is 1st offense

This is his first offense, but he did tell the school security officer he got it from me. How much am I going to be implicated in this?

Security did not find any thing in his possession other than some cigarettes, but the pack smelled of weed.

Oh you might need to clean up if he told them he got it from you. If it was just a PI then yah hes just going to get a slap on the wrist probly.

As much as the judge sees fit, but i don't think he is going after you without solid evidence. The issue here is harsher penalties on your son

But you can't be too careful... If you have an operation in your home, i would suggest it being moved. If you just smoke, then i wouldn't worry anymore

The principal told me the school board will hold a hearing also to see about expelling him.

But I am wondering how long I have before I should clean up. I have one plant that will be ready for harvest in a week or so. Dont know if I should go ahead and clean it up now or not. Would him telling them he got it from me be enough to warrant a search? However, they know he lies alot so I am not sure how much emphasis they will put on his claim.
