how hot is the room suppose to be? i also have vegging area in the room that puts out a lil heat it raises the temp to like about 75-78' f ...will i still need a heater if i add a 1000w hps in that room? i think with the 1k will heat up the room even more at least thats what i think, but this is my first time growing, so i dont really know much about this stuff

if you get an air cooled hood and exhaust it out of the room then your temps will probably only raise a few degrees. you can also keep the ballast outside the room. this will help lower your heat. i'm actually thinking of moving my ballast into my room to help warm it up.
