Looks like this forum isn't much different from all the others when it comes to UT3. Even the site I'm a mod on, Prounreal, is kind of dead.

I've been playing this series since Unreal came out in 1997. When the original UT came out in the end of '99 the game really took off and there were massive numbers of people playing it. I continued playing the original UT even when 2K3 and 4 came out because most of us old schoolers hated the new game.

I hear horror stories about the problems UT3 has and this is the first time I did NOT buy a UT series game. Yes, I did buy the 2K3 and 4 games but I soon threw them in the garbage. I'm happy I did not give Epic my money this time.

Go to Prounreal If you want some real competition and you are looking for some servers that actually have people on them. C1, my old clan, reformed with a few old schoolers and is playing TDM and CTF at the moment.

Good luck with UT3 tho. Who knows, the PS3 version might take off and the game may come alive. I like my PC games. I need a mouse to aim and not a damn gamepad

yeah, i dont know how people can do all the jumping and aiming I do on a gamepad. especially since unreal is so vertical as it is horizontal, its not just running like most games, here you have to constantly be looking up down around behind upside down, its intense a pad couldnt do it. Ima ctually getting a belkin nostromo n52te cause my mouse is decent but I need better keyboard response. And I also dont know how you dont like UT3. I mean HD support, levels as big as a mmorpg and they give EVERYONE the UT3 editor. I mean you can take whatever you dont like and just change it. they give you the tool. I mean thats quality. THe creator lets you make all your own mods and levels, and the same tool they use. You could rerelease it with your own name at the beginning. I dont think it gets better than ut3
