the video didnt work for me, i think i'd make it up about 250 feet and then get scared, i used to work at a concrete plant and the topmost newcem silo was about 100 ft up and once a month or so one of us would go up there will a big hammer(it got tied to a rope and then pulled up after you get up all the way) and clean out the bag things by smashing the big chunks with the hammer. That was scary as hell the first few times.

I used to work at a facility that had 4 triangular leg towers 695 ft tall. I climbed them several times a year, probably a total of 14 assents to the top. While climbing I thought about falling & after a couple of hundred feet up you realize just going higher is not going to hurt you worse - you just get to think about it coming for a few seconds more.
Cool stuff, the guys would ride these baskets out to change out mid-line insulators. Crazy bastards, disconnecting the very line they are hanging from.

That scared the fuck out of me, but I'd be down to do it after much experience on smaller towers. It seems like one of those things you may think you'll never make it to the top but when you do, its just exhilarating.
