i thought you were a roofer. rain does suck when you roof, cause it never comes when you want it. i dont have the day off, but i will have a smoke with a fellow roofer.

cheers k-vette,,uhh,,,exactly what bridge do you live under,,and is there a # on yur box,,,,lol,,ya man,,did a 85 bundle 5/12 gable with a small garage,,the guy supplied the material,the bin,an extra laborer,,(his brother in-law)they stripped half the top,,and the HoLE garage,and moved all the garbage,,all I did was fire up the Hitachi compressor,,hook up my Bostich,,and whipped it off in 2 half days,,,used my own laborer to just keep me in bundles and shingles,,after payin my dude,,I still came out with 1800 for 8 hours

your up in canada huh? what's it like roofing with that cold of weather? i cant imagine... im in louisiana, bout the opposite of your climate. we have to take off sometimes cause it is too hot to walk the roof w/o scuffin the piss out of the shingles.

Canada sucks for winter work,,but southern Ontario has a weather pattern that I am used too,,I am one of the few roofers that does residential roofing,,all year long,,most new work guys and flat guys work all year as well,,but not many residential guys,,sometimes it takes me and 2 guys an hour and a half just to clear a roof after a big snow,,and get set-up,,but once we have cleaned it,,we work for the day,,and tarp the unfinished,,then if it snows again,,we just pull off the tarp and it's clean,,if it's too cold,,it's too cold,,weather changes fast here,,if it's shit,,we don't work,,but I can handle -10 on a sunny day no probs,,when I did new work a long time ago,,I once worked in -28 with the wind chill,,made a hundred bones by noon,,and fukked off,,heat is a bitch here to,,I am really good on steep work,,but the shingles make it hard,,when you just touch em and there fukked,,nore so with fiberglass shingles,,at least with the old ashphalt shingles ,,you had a bit before they were cooking,,,if it's too hot,,it's beer time

Use that money to buy yourself a new something that will make you more money.. Maybe new tires for your truck, a another truck maybe , a billboard rental with your company on it .. a few ladders , a laddervator if you dont have one , Or spend it on booze and strippers .. but you better get a happy ending if you go that route
