just bought a zong today at a headshop in town best decision ive ever made.

I bought a Zong Bong about 7 or 8 years ago and to this day it is the most awesome thing I have ever smoked out of. That thing would never ever disappoint. It was a color changing twist model, it was about 2 feet tall. After getting a few good years of use out of it my dad found it one day in my closet and that was the last time I ever saw it. I remember how hard I pleaded with him to not destroy it so I could get it back one day when I wasn't under his roof anymore. I've been out of his house now for a few years and still try to get the balls together everytime I see him to say "Sooo Dad, you remember that awesome bong you took from me way back when..."
That bong took a training session to be able to clear... I got to a point where I could do it everytime. I also had a little 10'' strait Zong Bong that I loved to death, it was without a doubt the most smoked from pipe in my house. Anytime I wanted to get high and didn't want to smoke a whole bowl in one hit, I'd break out the mini Zong.
I remember ordering the larger bowl upgrade for my big Zong, because you realy did need a bigger bowl for that monster and because I remember the day I got it I took it into the bathroom and was marveling over it in the mirror and dropped the bowl and shatard it. That sucked.
I don't think the original makers of the Zong Bong are still around. I remember one day there site just dissapeared. You can still buy knock offs and you can find originals aftermarket, but I don't think the original distributer is still in business. I hope I'm wrong, someone please post a link for me and make my week.

That's the same model I had except I think it had 3 "twists" in it instead of two. That thing is awesome man! Right on!

That post made me think about all the other pipes and bongs I've had over the years as well, I remember another one of my all time favs was a shirlock bubbler that was made of beautiful blown glass, had marbles in laid in just the right spots so you never lost your grip... was this thread makes me wanna go to a head shop!

just bought a burnt orangeish sour zong the other day. Also the ZONG! company is back and they have them at GhostDog in rochester. i bought a zong! brand steamroller there the other day as well.
