If and when it becomes legal, closet grows will be for personal only. You'll never keep up with big business, hobby farmers at best. Even at a huge tax rate big business will be able to produce more and higher quality than we can think of.

guess what buddy, it all works by supply and demand. right now, the demand exceeds the supply, therefore the supply is more expensive.

but when legalizatino happens, huge motherfuckin companies will be getting in on this shit and will make the supply EXCEED the demand.

when that happens, you will see the prices drop in half atleast. and then a 50 dollar tax wont fucking matter.

the outdoor market in cali is still flooded from last year. there is an OVER supply of weed here. prices have NOT dropped.

if it were to become legalized the DEMAND for pot would immediately INCREASE. which, by your logic, should raise prices.

can YOU show me an example of your theory? and how it's proven to hold true.

uh, drug dealer and a few dispensaries vs a huge company distributing it to every gas station in the entire state?

in a regulated market in which there are regulated outlets for buying things such as this, that's when true competition occurs, when consumers can go to ONE place and choose to buy YOUR weed over someone elses.

that's when the price will drop, when others are willing to go lower than you will go.

I don't need to give you an example, just look at how the prices of everything fluctuate!
