Every locality has different names for different kinds of bud. I'm curious as to what everyone calls stuff in different regions. My turn:

In Southeastern Washington, the easiest and cheapest kind of weed you can buy is called Mersh. Then there's BC's (baby chronic) and Chronic. These are the 3 easiest and most typical kinds to get around here. I'm pretty sure that they're all from the same strain of marijuana, my guess is that it would be what most people call Skunk...

Now, I know in some places, Chronic is weed laced with coke, right?
Do any of you guys know of bud called Mersh?

They call the shiety weed "dirt weed" or "homegrown" and the better shiet either the official name or "dro" even if it isnt hydroponic weed which doesnt make since to me at all

Here in the heartland we got all kinds of names for the crappy weed because there is so much of it : Dirt Weed/Schwag/Seedweed/brickweed/ , The good stuff is just called "The good stuff" or Primo.

well in WNY we call shitty weed "mersh" (as in commercial [cheap, low thc content, large quantity]) and that usually sells for 35-40 a 1/4 and you usually can't find a dealer who sells a bag of mersh less than 1/4's... good weed is usually just called "green" no matter how it was grown or the strain but prices can range from 25 bucks for a dimebag to 40 a 1/4 depending on where you buy it and how good it is ... but thats just out here in farmland go 35 minutes north into the city and there's about 25 names (fire, smoke, trees, and pie just to name a few) and prices and types fluctuate

EDIT: and yes Dr. Jake in some places chronic is another name for a mixture of really good green bud, hash oil or hash, and cocaine

I feel for you guys. Out in Southern California, there is shwag (low grade, never bought it so can't give prices), chronic (which means chronic), and kush (which means kush!). How simple!
People out here seem to be really big on strain names, so that is a way to quickly identify quality and price.

Chron - $15/g, $50/1-8, $90/1-4, $150/1-2
Kush - $20-25/g, $60-75/1-8, $120-150/1-4, don't remember half o. of kush, it's been a while since I bought that much.

In Arizona (Phoenix area), I have only heard of mersh and chronic. The mersh is the same, brickweed, probably out of Mexico. Never bought it, so can't tell prices. The chronic is outdoor, not terribly potent, but can make do. Have not seen kush out here (except for when I brought it from SoCal and sold it, haha). I've only bought weed there once, and that was a half-eighth, which I got for $30 (so $60 for that eighth, but it was from California).
