get the irc window open, you may need a username and whatever.

then when you got the text window open

type
/server dalnet
then type
/join #rollitup

were all there now, its a busy room full . come join us

i'm not sure what program you're using but find the window that says servers. you want to get to an option that allows you to change servers.

when you find that choose DALnet or irc.dal.net (same thing)
