I never turn my volcano over 5. You want the weed to vaporize not turn into smoke. There is a big difference.

If done correctly you will only see a 'hint' of smoke in the bag.

Yeah, I know this. You can tell in the texture and the taste of the vapor if it's smoke or not. I still turn mine up sometimes and it's always just good vapors.

I've been using my Volcano for some time and I just gotta tell you that there is nothing like rolling a fatty and just enjoying the premium tastes and aroma. IMHO

Hi, Iam a volcano owner and every night user. First off the volcano CANOT BURN THE HERB. I know people are going to argue with me but it can not burn the herb. If I do it at 5 i get nothing the bag is clear and I get nothing. Like the instruction booklet says you have to be able to see the vapor in the bag. At 5 I see nothing. Now my settings go as follows. 1st bag at 6.5- 2nd 7.5-- 3rd 8.5- 4th full tilt! Bag id pretty clesr by this point so for the 5th and final I put a little of the real ground up herb in the 2nd chamber of my grinder. Also 3rd 4th and 5th I stir before vaping. I have astma and rhematoid arthritis and glaucoma. This machine is and has been a life saver and would reccomend it to everyone. I did the cheapies and forgrt the light bulb. There is a video on utube on how to make I watched it over a year ago.

I am not personally a volcano owner, but my budd has a vaporizer and he loves it. The question is how much you smoke. It may not be worth your money if you aren't a regular smoker

see my good friend smokes ALOT and says it has paid for itself in the few months he has owned it. He also says if it broke he would buy a new one right away. This is from a person that has smoked steady for 20 years and used to smoke mad joints ever day

I have been smoking for nearly 35 years. I don't see the saving others have posted in here but congrats if indeed it is the truth. My experience is the high last a little longer but over a night of enjoyment I just don't see that much of a reduction, But that is my experience. Over a month's time I generally use the same amount of herb.

I have been reading the posts concerning vaporizers and had to put in my two cents. I have been a smoker for 23 years and after many a morning with pulmonary oysters, decided to save my lungs and treat myself to a vaporizer. There is tons of info out there and all kept pointing right back to the Volcano. So, bought myself one....and quite honestly think I am ready to throw away every lighter in my house. Yeah, they are a little pricey....but hell, my health is priceless so cost was not an issue here. I ordered one and three days later...was vaping away. Turned a few friends on to what in our circle is now know as "the jiffy pop machine". Two have already bought their own and those who have not, call damn near nightly to ask if I am making "jiffy pop". So, in short, stop searching and accept that this little gem is top notch. Easy to use, easy to maintain and wow...could blindfold myself with dental floss after just one bag...of Jiffy pop...lol. Very well designed and put together, rock solid little machine. Parts are all well constructed and built to last! So if you are thinking of a vaporizer and searching the posts for the best, look no furthur. No more hacking, no more sticky resin on your pipes, fingers and walls. No ashtrays, no lighters and a lot less smell. Simple to operate and uses less herbs than smoking. Best of all...when the goodies in the volcano are spent...you still have one hell of a byproduct for the best brownies ever! Mmmmm...Jiffy Pop and brownies......

I've been smokin for every day of the past 7 year and 4 year be4 jail when 18. I have been bongin it for at least 7 years and then my buddy and I decided to buy a volcano and went half on it. Let's just say when it was my turn to return the volcano I went out and bought one later that week. Its real good it you have plenty of herb. I use mine also around 6-7.5. but imo its not good to cap them smoke a bowl cuz a pipe or bong will never taste as clean as vap. I mean it literaly taste bad. I would suggest smoking bowls then vaping but not the other way around. My volcano is on a break cuZ i smoke kush and would be totally broke if I use it. So it has pros and cons. But its an awsome smoke. Just fill bag smoke and wonder
