hi my names kaleo and im a RIUaholic

i know several other internet junkies that are wayyyy worse than me

this girl i like is a facebook junkie; she spends like 12-15hrs a day on facebook. i dont see any point to it, its a waste of time. all she does is chat with people in other countries and looks at peoples pictures

i know a porno junkie who admits to wacking off atleast 10 and up to 30 times a day. dude go get your dick wet in pussy. i understand the need for instant gratification but come on! 30 times in a day! my dick would fall off

but in my oppinion WOW is the heroin of the internet. ive seen it ruin peoples lives so bad. one friend of mine got a loan on his 2004 celica to get a computer. he lost his job and the bank took his car after a year or two. i worked with a girl who saved up all her tips and checks just to buy a computer and then once she had enough... bam! no one saw her again. another friend was trying to quit WOW cold turkey but couldnt do it. he has 5 lvl 80 charicters and hes realized he is wasting his life. he had to use CODMW and halo to kick his WOW habbit

wacking off 10 - 30 times a day? Are you sure? That's seems extreme to the nth degree.

I love the internet and all...but I also love just hanging out with real people...taking hikes/walks...scuba. Life is not digital.

when im on the internet i usually am learning something. researching grafting is my new addiction

Yea, HUNDREDS of people are "losing" their life to this epidemic..forget the THOUSANDS of new drug abusers daily, and forget the thousands of alcoholics...they are only harming themselves and others...its those kids quitting their maccas jobs really have to worry about! Who will serve our munchies...

What about those people who sit at home on their ass all day, on rollitup? The ones who quit work to grow weed? or the ones who actually MAKE money by playing the game?

I dont play wow..i HAVE..i got to level 5 and got bored shitless...But I do hate people giving them shit.they arent doing anything thousands of other people dont do...at least they need to work SOME hours, to pay the subscription.

What about those who watch tv all day? Or the housewives who chat all day? The MILLIONS of WoW players who DO work responsibly to "pay for their addiction"...Im sure if someone who watched "LOST" religiously - lost their tv, they would do what they could to see the weekly episode elsewhere.

People who spend days at a time, and 5 grand in a weekend working on an old rusty car, could b said to be addicted, i bet one or 2 of them have "missed a meal" to work through on their baby..

Everyone has to be "addicted" to something, or else you would just be sitting looking at a wall...and even then if thats what you chose to do all day, i would call that addiction.

When people start shooting other people for wow gold THEN this thread has a place...a few people quitting their jobs to play a game? Hell i know people who have walked out on careers because their boss wouldnt give them the day off for sports matches and stuff....

I suppose they are your next target?

Too much of anything is bad. These people are playing a game, go give the addicts who lie, steal and kill for product a rant, and leave the poor bastards playing a video game alone.

Theres so many people bashing "internet addiction"...go work on "television addiction" last i checked cable tv cost more than wow per month!

um i was kinda joking by comparing the internet to a drug. it is what it is

you make valid points but i think you misunderstood my message; i just wanted to hear about other peoples internet addictions, not bash on anyone. i dont think i said a single unkind thing about internet addicts, other than comparing them to junkies jokingly
