I'd say Firefox, its faster and theres a lot of free add-ons you can download like skins etc

Chrome is definitely faster than Firefox, man. But Chrome is lacking in PC protection and a lot of other fields. I use Chrome, personally.

Better at what ?? No disrespect to you but what are u trying to do ??

Do you even know how to set up your browser for what u want to do ??
Is 'more private' better .... is it the speed u are after ??
Do you need to use proxies ??
Which versions are u using ??

For Firefox look here http://www.blogsdna.com/6522/how-to-speed-up-your-firefox-browser.htm
and here http://www.ffextensionguru.com/wiki/index.php?title=Speed_Up_Firefox_Startup
Do u use extensions and plug ins for your purpose .... ?? (Firefox has way more plug ins.
Do you go to flash websites ...?? Are u going to be using HMTL 5 .... ?
What is your hardware like ?? Slow rig ... fast rig ?? As browsers will work differently from one machine to the next.
What is your internet connection like ??

Look at this for speed comparisons...

Why not use them both ??
Cheers

firefox > chrome.

Chrome still has a few years of development to catch up. Not to mention I trust Mozilla Corp WAY more than I trust Google

Jesus christ, thats a shame... please for the love of god get rid of IE
I've never found a reason to, I've used firefox but didn't really see much of a difference. All my passwords that I have forgotten are stored on IE, so if I can make a transition I will probably check chrome out. But I'm not in a hurry becasue IE is working well

Chrome is smoother, less cluttered, and all around works better than Firefox (which has fucking memory leaks up the WAZOO). I never get pop ups or spam do to chrome and the simplicity of the browser with the amount of things it still has is great.

I hate Firefox and it's memory leaks and it looks like I'm still on windows 98. Before anyone says "you can get sweet skins!", I don't want to download a shitty skin that requires more fucking plugins that I already DON'T want and most of it is open source. I'm done messing with unnecessary downloads these days... Chrome looks nice and simple to begin with and works in every way possible. It's tab browsing is way better as well.

I was a firefox user for years.
