ok i thought about this last night when i was fuckin super baked i want to open a head shop SLASH underground music shop
oh yeah
best stoned idea ever
thing is i fell asleep before i could read about it or anything
(good thing i wrote down the idea)
but anyway i digress does anyone know what papers i need to roll this idea into an actual working store??????
please because if anyone saw me last night youd know how freaking psyched i was about the idea

Have you ever opened a business before?
Do you have money to open the store and live off of for 1 year?
Do you have any collatoral for a small business loan?

First thing you want to do is figure out how much your initial inventory rent insurance business lisences are going to cost you for one year. Next get a business plan software bundle for like 50 bucks and start plugging in the numbers. Take it to a bank or your financier. Next work 80 hours a week every week to get your business going. Pray like hell that you can survive for 1 year and become profitable. If you make it past the first year you have beaten the odds!

well im just thinking about it now but how much do you think would be a good amount of money to start with (including a loan ifit's involved which i think it is) but ya how much moolah we talkin about thats what im asking and what permits are needed and all that junk if somecould tell me even just half i will be happy

If you need someone to tell you how much money you will need, you aren't ready to open a business.

Just a round estimate without knowledge of cost for inventory or your rent I would say in this day and age you better have 100k at least.

I can tell you this, if you are in LA and you want to buy pipes and bongs at wholesale, I have three words for you; The Toy District. At the end of the toy district downtown, near where Little Tokyo begins, there is an alley that has about ten or twelve shops that sell pipes and such, for pennies on the dollar.

As for legal issues, walk into a head shop and ask. They would know better, and with actual Cannabis clubs all over L.A., the DEA is not really concerned with someone selling glass pipes or water bongs. Your biggest issue iis is finding the money to get a good location, and if you want to sell CDs, well, good luck with that. It's a dying industry, and there is this rule called Disclosure, which mean if you want a Small business loan, the banks and the landlord must know what business you are in. I'm not sure how up most banks and property holders would be on your idea, but hey man, good luck. If you get it off the ground, maybe I'll come by and pick up a new piece.

see hes all for it and telling me to try and i will but now i just need to save up hahahha for a while but ya i dont think the cd store would work to well but ehh i was stoned that means the idea wasn't fully made in reality it will probably be a head SLASH underground music like merch place can't think of the name of what im thinking of right now (wake and bake(sweet)) or maybe a skate shop or something all i know is that theres going to be bongs NICE ONES DAMN IT!!!! hahahaha ya ill find something though and it will happen trust me this shall happen
