honey oil taste bad?

i got some honey oil from a mm club and it tastes like lighter fluid.is it normal ?while burning it smells like candle wax or something.ive had hash oil and that had a mint smell.

Sounds like they used crappy butane to make it. I did it once with some crappy butane I bought at the local bodega and it tasted like crap. It's worth it to spring for the good stuff...

walk back in and say this tastes like shit. at least let them know next time you go back. i'd be pissed. these clubs are supposed to be for medical patients. they shouldn't sell crappy oil. my club will only get it made by one person. they had too many problems with bad butane.

well now i dont know what iam going to do all week,it made me sick to my stomach and i cant get back there till at least friday.also iam going to feel like an ass,i mean the way this stuff smells they had to know it was like this.i was told it was not as good as the hash oil but this is just gross

i know what you mean. i make the stuff. i have used bad butane in the past. when i first started. it seems they add some type of oil to it. that oil is left behind. i had some cheap butane that smelled like propane. like they added stink to it. it stayed in the honey oil. i had to throw it all out. about 10 grams of it. straight into the garbage.

Im about to try this process, what would be "bad butaine?" What kind should I get?

i use "Vector" it's 5x filtered.

Too bad I already bought Danny Light Butane, guess I'll take it back. Doesnt say anything about being filtered. Hmm.
