an eighth last me 5 days max if i smoke it alone. i if am sharing with my roommate it lasts a day or two at most.

as far as long term effects go, there may be no evidence that it doesn't cause long term effects but more to the point there is absolutely no evidence that is does! it is a carcinogen, but if you cook with it or use a vaporizer there is no evidence that it will have any lasting effects, either short or long term.

Have you people not done any research? marijuana is NOT harmful! Even in pregnant women, marijuana does not harm the fetus in anyway (the study followed the children until age 6, and surprisingly the children of mothers who smoked pot while pregnant actually had higher test scores, were able to handle stress and social adjustments better and the list goes on and on..) While addiction to marijuana can happen (it's a mental addiction, not physical), addiction only occurs when the person wasn't stable to begin with and has an addictive personality in general. Smoking marijuana is not known to give lung cancer (like some other inhalants we know of). How can you say we don't know the long term effects?!

if you hold the smoke in after you take a hit..it can harm the baby cuz its gets in your blood, which would mean the babies blood which the mean the baby gets high as well.
but if you inhale exhale you should be fine..

we packed a half an ounce in a blunt once...

It depends on what your doing, sat and sun it will last the morning, week days it can range from the morning to all day.

Ive got my scale here and just wayed a typical joint of mine....came in at just under a gram....so I would say a 3.5 gram blunt would be pretty easy....Next time I roll one ill drop it on the scale
