i see it like this, it doesnt take a rocket scientist to answer most of the questions, if your smart enough to have done research, just because i've done 1 or 2 grows, doesnt mean the advice is bad, it the poster who is looking for suggestions and i think if you have a clue to the answer you should try and help, every dam question i've seen asked here as been already asked a million times, faq. id rather give my opinion to a newbie, then have no one answer him at all. i am an admin in other sites, but not a site like this, so its always better to give your own opinion and just tellem your a newbie to then not to answer at all, ppl like when they see lots of replies to there questions, good or bad, they will see what the majority has to say and decide them selves. so whats the beef?

True, alot of noobies and I including myself have posts unanswered because people can't be bothered to answer. I'll answer anyone but, I always tell them to wait for other's opinions and then decide. I then keep going over the thread to see what I DON'T know...and that's a lot! lol

Yeah it's our responsibilities to correct misinformation on this site. Without bad answers there would be no understanding and then we'd be in even deeper trouble. There have been advanced studies in the past demonstrating that humans are many more times likely to solve a problem by working together and bouncing ideas off each other. Without misinformation there would be no bouncing at all. And due to the large volume of posts on this site every day, good questions often get swallowed up by other posts, never really being answered.
