with your parents for those of you who live at home or with your girlfriend or your friends? discuss. ive had a rough weekend so far especially with the parents and its a long one due to fall break at the college i attend

Yeah living with parents can really suck. Thats why I left when I was 16 and never looked back. I have a great relationship with them now but it took patience and effort on both sides.
I'm sure it's not that bad. Hang in there. Maybe if you sleep on it, things will look brighter.

Dude, living with parents usually does suck. But as I get older and have my own children I realize something. Parents are just trying to do the best they can. Cut them some slack once in awhile. I know it is tough, but you are getting older and becoming more independant and that is hard for parents to deal with. They are people too and if you treat them with a bit more respect, you may see some in return. I have learned this hard way. I am estranged from both my parents and as I get older older I want to fix this. I was a crazy teenager out on my own at 19 and could care less about the parents. If I could go back to change it, I would.
