Default the big bass i caught out of a pond

i caught this fish in a pond in my apartment complex if florida. the pond was about the size of a basketball court and about 10 ft deep. im getting the fish mounted.

i never keep fish. i fish all the time here salt and freshwater and i used to work on commercial fishing boat so fish arent appetizing anymore. the only reason the fish got that big is cuz no one ever fishes it. normally i would let it go but that fish is 8 lb 3 oz so it is worth putting on the wall

whats wrong with fishing ponds i've caught larger bass than any trout or redfish i land when im on the intercoastal here in GA

I'd mount it too, the biggest fresh water bass I ever caught was 4 and half pounds and I go bass fishing often.

it really suprised me that a fish that big could be in a pond that small. i usually fish saltwater though i was just killing time. ive caught dozens of 5 and 6 pounders but they are not worthy of getting mounted. plus most people only have once chance at a big fish like that. yeah i live in swfl close to the everglades so fish are everywhere down here. ive caught fish in ditches when it rains hard. but its florida too. there are more big fish here than people
