i was wondering the same thing... sounds about 14 haha

I just think grinding it up before putting it in a bowl burns it to hot and to fast, especially when smoking out of a bong, grinded weed just burns so fast.

But then again i smoke way more blunts then bowls so i use my grinder daily.

really though, the more you manipulate the buds more trichomes fall off and your bud get less potent so wouldnt it be best to just pop a lil nug in there?

Yeah, I've always heard that the more you mess with the buds, the more they lose potency.. So if its good weed I just throw a nug in the bowl, but if its schwag, I have no choice but to break it up so I can remove the seeds/stems.

not alot of thc comes off, or you'd have a shit load of keif that's why you have a catcher to catch it. believe me it's nothing noticeable. i think the same amount of weed comes off in a grinder and if you break it off with you hand.

chillin on it, grilling on it, roll up another blunt, my lungs are filling on it.

for mids, I break it up by hand.
If its dank, Ill usually either pull it apart or use scizzors.
If it's really dank, then I dont worry about breakin it up because its all covered in crystals and hairs, ect.

For mids, breakin it up does help with the high, the more into shake you can get it, the higher youll get, especially with vaporizers, and for reg-dank breaking or pulling apart is more affective but in some cases can take some thc away by getting it all over your fingers and shit.

My wife and I use a coffee grinder and then scrape the Keif out at the end of the week, dam thats good. Taste freaking great.
