Post can i switch to 12/12 now if i want a small plant?

hey guys thius is my first grow and its going good so far i only have limited room were im growing and i wanted a small plant i have a few good sized plants and i was wondering if they are big enough to switch to 12/12??

i would give a week or two then switch...but you can anytime you want its your game you make the rules..

well the only reaeon i need to know if i could now is because ik thet triple in size when u start flowering and i dont have much room so do u think if i did it now it would flower or is it not mature enough??

there going to stretch untill the first weeks of flowering, so your better off vegging untill theyre sexually mature and then flower

what lighting are you using? if CFLS, to keep it from stretching, keep those bulbs as close as 1-2 in

im using aif watt plant and aquareum light i got at home depot and its probley 3-4 inches from the top of plant how long do u say before i should start flowering cuz i dont have much space keep that in mind?

you see the stipules, those spike shaped things on both the male and female sides of the diagram? i recommend holding off on 12/12 untill you see these start to grow because there usually the first sign of sexual maturaty

what are you gonna do with that little rootbound baby? i say you either pull it or transplant it soon

yeah i was think about re potting it but only probley is its in the same soil as that bigger one so how would i get it out without moving the other one?

ya lol i didnt understand what an aif light was. feel the warmth of the bulb and if you cant feel more than a little warmth with your hand 1 inch away your plant can take it and your light should be that close

honestly id suplement that low watt floro light with a few CFLs
