Default How to quit smoking blunts?
Hey everyone,

As you can read from the title, I'd like to quit smoking blunts. Not weed itself, just weed rolled into blunts.

I have a number of reasons for this...

1. I'd rather not be smoking anything paper

2. I smoke quite a few times throughout the day for stomach problems, and smoking blunts is a huge waste of weed.

3. I'm trying to become self-sufficient, and only smoke the weed I grow and never have to buy any, but my setup can only grow about a QP every other month. My current smoking habit is about an 1/8th a day which adds up to at least a QP per month.

4. Blunts are an added expense of smoking.

5. I love hitting bongs and bowls but still have the urge to smoke a blunt.

6. For 3 weeks in June/July I was on vacation and could only smoke one-hitters and tiny pinner blunts, when I came back to my usual smoking habits I was higher than ever!


It's like I'm addicted to blunts like you would be to cigarettes. I used to smoke cigarettes until about March of this year, so I think it has something to do with holding a burning stick of something. LOL


Does anyone have any suggestions for how to quit smoking blunts? Every time I try I just end up making a trip to the gas station to pick up a pack of Swishers within a few hours.

In fact I've been sitting here hitting the bong the whole time I was writing this...and now I think I'm going to smoke this last Swisher and think about how I'm going to prevent myself from buying another pack when I go to get more bud today.

Sounds to me that your body is trying to make up for the nicotine you gave up when you quit cigs by smoking hella blunts.

Try it the same way you quit cigs.

That's what I'm thinking too man.

I took this pill called Chantix to quit smoking ciggs. I still have some. I wonder if it would work for blunts now that I haven't smoked a cigg since March?

Only thing is that the Chantix made my stomach issues worse while I was taking it...but that made me quit smoking ciggs faster. It would suck to have to go through that again and have it not help me to stop smoking blunts.

My issue with jays are they are very smelly even compared to blunts... and I wouldnt want to develop a habit with them too cause i know i can roll some big ass joints lol

just get some high quality greens and you wont want to waste it in a blunt (as blunts are for dirt weed only imho)

Been smoking for 30 years. Never more than 1-3 hits and I ONLY smoke a joint if IM in extreme pain and need to crash to sleep it off.

Smoking any more than a few hits does not get you any better than your best and simply wastes weed.

Buy a Bat (a metal thing looks like a cig) if your addiction is the hand motions (or rather lack of them when not smoking a blunt) this should at least allow you to trick your mind into relieving the habbit of having to do something with your hands
