What is your Zombie contigency plan?
I think everyone should have a mental plan prepared in case of a zombie apocolypse. First thing you would have to do is prioritize. First walking corpse would be all the evidence I need. I would immidiately pack anything I may need.
Second step would be to secure transportation. I drive a compact, so an upgrade would be high priority. Most people would go for the biggest vehicle they could find. This is wrong. You may feel safe plowing through zombies in a hummer, but you'd be risking your neck every couple of miles to refill the tank. I would break into the post office and steal a mail truck. It's basically an armored car. Empty it out, and plan your next stop.
My next highest priority would be weapons. I would break into every gun store I can find looking for weapons (I would wait until most of the guns are gone, to avoid getting shot by the all too eager looters. After I have a few guns I would go to a small sporting goods store and grab all the blunt objects I could find (Baseball bats, hockey sticks, anything I could hit a zombie in the head with.) I would then go to a hardware store and steal a bunch of screws to put in the bats.
Next priority would be to GET OUT OF TOWN. I live in a huge metropolis, which would be good to gather supplies, but I would immediately go to the nearest town with the lowest population. There I would loot the grocery stores, and try to find a nice house to chill with my family for a couple months (I'm hoping that eventually the zombies would get fatigue, and maybe collapse of starvation) I'm not a zombie biologist, so that may be a stretch.
I would welcome all strangers into my safehouse, after they endure a strip search with a gun pointed to there head. (I don't need no infected ass motherfuckers eatin my family.) If the zombie population realizes where I am I would immediately plan to leave town and try again in another desolate location.
What would you do if you woke up and the entire world was dead but still walking?

also i would find as much dope as possible to keep me away from the reality that im gunna be surrounded by zombies for a while

I had a dream about this the other night. Zombies gradually took over my fortified house and eventually made into my safe room, but they stopped, and like 4 zombie leaders approached me and noticed my pot in my hand, then we all rolled and they spared me.
In the event of a zombie take over, i'd probably fortify my house. It's rural, and a big house. Unfortunately there are no local gun stores and I have few guns with ammunition. There is a local grocery store, but I'd be hard to get food considering the surviving local populace would be doing the same.
