It's been proven by the "Mythbusters" that playing music.. does indeed help plant's while they grow. Classical music does the best according to them.

It's true.. and for my next grow I shall give this a try to see if I can see an actual difference in size and health.. and the rate at which the plant or plants will grow.



It's been proven now.. no longer a mystery.

I have enough noise issues with the five inline fans I've got going in the garage and certainly don't need Mozart adding to the decibels.

However, good luck and it sounds like a cool experiment.

way back a few years ago I researched this myth, and I found a site that had a wav file for the perfect sound to help it grow.... what's interesting is there's a weapon called the LRAD (long range acoustic device) that outputs a very similar sound. check youtube for G20 LRAD

I'd think the other way around... In addition to make the plants feel less stressed than the noises, it might actually help covering the fans' noise.
