That's a really really good and intelligent
hypothesis and theory.

I've thought the same.. and wondered the
same as well... that's the only thing I could
come up with too man.

I mean we all know plants don't have ears
as most animals do.. they can't hear that
way. They can't hear sound waves.. in other words. But.. I think the roots could possibly react maybe in a positive way.

That was my theory.. who knows really
though.

Ask yourself this boys and girls, if it was actually worth it to blast your plants with noise, don't you think people would have been doing this a long time ago? The biggest problem with the mythbusters is that their experiments are extremely small and often fail in many other areas. I have seen most of the episodes (I have last night's ready to watch when I get home) but if you are talking about the test they did a few years back then they had holes big enough to drive trucks through. Not to mention they didn't collect NEAR enough data to show any kind of causation.
