Default Preserving weed?
Is it possible to preserve weed right now, and when I smoke it in the summer (9 months from now) it will have the same potency? My friend gives me some of his extra weed every couple weeks and I want to have a very hazy summer.

and to answer the question about potency retention, you will lose potency from freezing, it drying out, or just it sitting around. even vacuum sealing it sucks imo.

If you get some of those glass pickling jars you can put your delectable in them. Screw the lid on tight and place it in a dark cool place. Not only will it taste and burn a whole lot better but the THC levels can go up do to some of the different chromosomes in the weed change to THC. It can last up to a year but any more then that and the THC levels drop. It is called curing. Just make sure it is dried well before putting it into the jars. I am hoping to do it with some of my harvest in a couple of weeks.
