I LOVED this series, and I actually liked the ending. I don't want to talk about it though and ruin the books for you.

But I LOVE this series, I fucking LOVE it. I was so pissed when Roland let Jake fall the first time. I love Eddie, and I love Roland by the end...kinda hated him in the beginning.
Ya, I meant the end of the series. Not the end of your book. I really enjoyed the books too. Except for the ending. Thats about all you can say without giving it away.

It has also been confirmed that they are working on a Dark Tower movie, although I don't see how it can compare to the epic journey that you experience while reading the books.

Stephen King = win
I've read the Clan of the Cave Bear series, all but the last one because I finished the series years before that one came out. And I kinda want to reread the series before I read the new one. Good series, or at least I thought so when I was in jr high.

EXACTLY. That's how I feel about most of Stephen King's books that have been turned into movies. They'd have to be way longer to do the book any justice.

I think I convinced myself to like the end.

yeah i know what you mean so often the film never lives up to the book but this jj abrams and damon lindelof are no fools they do Lost in case you didnt know. I would trust those fellas to do a decent job. but they'll not be starting the filming for ages due to Lost having a couple of years left and other projects.

apparently King sold them the rights for $19 !!!!!
