    Private health care will still be a viable option for the well to do.
    So what's the real problem?
    Dems are in power and Republicans are mad about it.
    Unfortunately, Republicans control the major news outlets and are scaring the shit out of people.

    I'm happy with my Health care system in Canada.
    Its about people helping each other. Why should someone be denied medical assistance because they cannot afford it? Everyone has the right to live. You may hear statements about Canadians having to wait long periods of time to get a cat-scan or a MRI, in reality, its not that bad. I realize that in the States you can get one right away, but that is if you are able to afford it. I am not saying that you should or should not support socialized health care. I just couldn't picture living without it.
