im sure this has been discussed before but i need to get my anger out. now lets list a few things.

1)cigarettes are made out of rat poison and can usually cause cancer in most ppl when smoked long enough (LEGAL)

2)Alcohol- kills brain cells( like they say pot does) and i dont know the stats but u know how many ppl die from drinking/alcohol poisoning

3) no one has ever died from an overdose of marijuana. it is not physically or mentally addictive like alcohol or nicotine can be.

So my point is why the hell is marijuana illegal again. now here is what i think:

In the U.S. it is fairly easy to obtain your own seeds and grow some plants indoors or outdoors. this proposes a problem to the government. HMM we cant really make money off of this can we??? because you cant tax marijuana since it grows from the ground. sure they can tax medical marijuana because u need a card and if u go buy it somewhere it is taxed. but not if u grow it at ur house. so they cant make money off of it. and yes ppl have died from smoking and driving or doing stupid shit while high but the same goes for alcohol. and alcohol also makes u crazy when your drunk making you more likely to hurt yourself or someone else. So i know im gonna get yelled at for this but the government needs to be consistent either they make alcohol illegal or legalize marijuana....preferably the second one lol. but right now the government is making money off of marijuana? how u say? well by drug busts and fines for misdemenor charges. plus when they confiscate it what do they do "get rid of it" cough cough you know what obama is probably stoned right now which is alright but come on cant we be stoned with him like if everone smoked up i think there would be a greater chance of world peace. but now im just rambling i just had to get that frustration out because out govt and the world is so messed up!

Sad to say but people think marijuana is the getway drug to other things. If people were smart and knew people who smoked necessarly doesn't mean they would do other drugs. People who like cigarettes well like cigarettes. I would just tell america that i only like smoking grass and it just led to me smoking higher quality grass. Also theres kids and teenagers who would have easier access to it if it would be legal and then we would here about all the deaths rising in america and all the car accidents it has caused in young people and people in general. I just don't see marijuana being legal in america. they shouldn't arrest people with weed though as long as it is not lighted up while driving or in public just like alcohol is treated but that shit is legal. doesn't make sense right.

I am just thankful Jah blessed the earth with such a wonderful plant.

yup im thinking they should make a smoking age just like a drinking age just like they do with alcohol and if ur caught high like out of ur home or w/e u get a fine or something but otherwise i think u should be able to do what u want as long as ur not hurtin anyone

Well i dont agree with the part about not being able to be high in public thats a big reason you would want it legal so you could toke in the smokers sections. I think you shouldnt be able to drive while high.

well i mean if they made it a law that you can only get high at home and have it be legal i wouldnt argue i would just take that at least its better than nothing. and that way u can get in trouble for having it on you either as long as ur not high

I didn't pay tax for my Medical Card. $140 flat. The weed isn't taxed either... still flat prices. They distribute it by "donations". $50 donation for an 1/8. They keep a tip jar.

Every dispensary has a sign saying "in the upcoming week the CA etc etc etc... will be taxing mmj"... I've seen them there for months and the prices go only lower.
