mirrors reflect light and light source 1 with x energy is reflected by the mirror which uses some of that energy to create a double of that light source and thus creating light source y. is light being created? look at the pics
PHYSICS IS BROKEN. LOOK TOWARDS THE SKY IF U CAN SPOT THE TEAR IN SPACETIME
edit: ya i know something similar was posted a while ago about this but it wasnt clear, i think this thread with the pics clear it up.
You can't simultaneously absorb 100% and reflect 100% of the light (which I think is what you are trying to get at)... not physically possible. The two processes are the opposite of one another. If you absorb 10% of the light you have to use energy to pump that 10% back out. There is no possible way to make light that is absorbed more "powerful," than when it was initially absorbed. Counterintuitive.

if i remember physics class right energy cannot be created or destroyed, only released or stored
a plant absorbs light directly from the bulb, a % of light is bounced off the reflectors and a % of that is absorbed by the plant
I never went to school I was always the stoner you saw ditching out for a Toke instead of a lecture. I do know that mirrors will never work for reflecting light unto a plant for photosythisis. Don't judge my grammer, I said I never toked in class.
In theory if they were both 100% reflective it would work assuming there is a vacuum and there are no dust particles or moisture to refract / diffuse / block the light. But the bulb is in the way of light that is perpendicular to the mirrors; meaning that the other light that is not blocked would just scatter.
But with 90% reflectivity the "beam" diminishes by 10% every time it is reflected. So it would stop working almost immediately considering how fast the light is "bouncing."
forget abotu plants, this is just a physics question. u can position the light source anywhere uwant between the two mirrors. and the space this is occuring in is in the most empty vaccuum where pressure, gravity, particles, and everything else is not present. simply the light source, and the mirrors.

go to a college, you dont even need to enroll, just walk into a physics class and bring this topic up, see if you can keep up with the professor, or if he just sounds like sam witwiki trying to describe to his teacher why the book is wrong
o but my point is that energy is never created or destroyed, even in a particle free vacuum
