The cost of growing is far too much to just do 150 an ounce. Yeah that price would be great, but as noted by previous posters, It is highly illegal in alot of the states. Not just a slap on the wrist or even half legal, its HIGHLY ILLEGAL. Sometimes, the price you get from the lb on you and driving infront of a cop. The rush alone is worth the money you just got from your client.

As we will always complain about prices, whether its eggs, milk, gas, or green in this case. Its a buyers market always in every market. As buyers we are never obligated to buy anything at all.

i would love to pay the $150 but i feel its worth more than that, i picked $200

but if was legal, no more than $100 + tax would be cool

The risk of growing and selling in a black market does'nt reflect on the price...bullshit! Check this out. How bout I can get a brick of white for $2000 in Panama. What good is it doin me in Panama? None and that's just it in order to get it transported up here would add on between $8000-$10,000 give or take. Same with weed. Dude I know used to grow down here in S Florida then drive it up in a moving truck to NY. Around that time the going rate for high grade around here was like $3000-$3700. He was takin that shit up there and smackin them in tha face for $5400 a lb and they were lovin him, mostly cause they did'nt have that up there. Supply and Demand, how much risk is involved, and quality all are factors in the setting of the price.

It does cost money to grow.

So far, my boyfriend (now ex) have been working on getting a grow set up and have spent well over $350 and still needs fans for ventilation.

How much is that? Let me get a calculator....

Damn. Its actually over $500.
Guess he spent more than I thought.

And he still needs more fans.

Obviously its cheaper to grow outdoors, and you get more
yield, but still. The cost of nutrients for feeding a possibly
4-7 ft tall plant will add up.
