I don't take them on a regular basis.
But they help me relax, and when I mix the high with weed (Killer weed), the high is an extreme body stone.
I like to throw in some Coil Windowpane, and just kick back into a trance.

those are shitty prices.

meh. like I said I"m done with this thread. until weed is legalized, apparently most of you wont recognize that the standard price for high quality should be dramatically lower. of course the best indoor bud is an exception but the majority of outdoor bud can turn out high quality and supply the majority of the population, so it makes perfect sense that weed prices should be dramatically lower.

sorry if quite a few of you can't see this.

If CA produces enough pot to supply the country, then why do we get so much of our pot from Mexico?

Outdoor growing isn't a realistic way to supply the country with pot, especially if it were legal. Can you imagine planting a lovely field of cannabis, only to have it pollenated by some nearby field of hemp and ruined? Or ruined because someone nearby failed to remove their male plants from their field?

A field of hemp can ruin a field of marijuana up to 7 miles away. THIS is why indoor growing IS necessary. Indoor growing preserves genetics, allows for cultivation of more potent strains, and eliminates environmental variables that can devastate cannabis crops.

Poplars, you're entitled to your opinion, but just so ya know - your opinion is wrong.

this is a good point but there is a way around it.

states could manage zones in which hemp farms could be grown, and zones in which cannabis farms could be grown. like I said, plenty of room in california.

so though this is a very good point and was almost good enough to singlehandedly kill my argument, the possibility of zones could easily stop this from happening. and there are plenty of places in california that could be strictly cannabis only.

Okay, so I'll give you the whole "zone" thing. That *could* keep problems to a minimum, but you will also most likely always have some dumb kids who don't follow the rules as far as the "zones" are concerned. Not to mention the fact that there still exists feral hemp in the US, which can also pollinate with cannabis cultivated for recreational purposes and completely ruin the crop. There is no way to control where feral hemp grows. It won't conform to any zoning rules and it's damn near impossible to eradicate (just ask the DEA). Of course, feral hemp is a bigger problem in the midwest than anywhere else in the country - but the midwest is also where most of the farmland in the US is concentrated.

That being said, if cannabis growing were legal then the cost of running an indoor growing operation might drop - due to better methods being able to be developed without having to worry about the law.

Imagine an "indoor" grow that uses direct sunlight instead of artificial light, and doesn't require near as much odor control. Increased demand for indoor growing supplies could trigger a drop in prices, or spur more competition among manufacturers and retailers of growing equipment also triggering a drop in prices. Imagine government subsidies for cannabis growers not unlike what corn farmers receive. Legalization could very well make indoor growing a more viable, affordable way to grow cannabis.

There may be plenty of room in CA, but CA is like, super prone to natural disasters (mudslides, wildfires, earthquakes, etc). SO, if we relied on CA to supply all our cannabis there's a good chance we'd have to go without due to natural disasters. Kinda like Florida oranges, ya know? If there's a late frost in FLA the oranges are all fucked, which drives up prices of anything made from oranges because they are scarce. Also, you have to consider things like distribution, which costs money. Trucking a cannabis crop across country would be expensive, so buyers on the East coast would end up passing that cost onto their customers.

Again, I'm not totally discrediting your ideas, just pointing out some obvious fallacies. I think it would be great if all cannabis consumed in the US could be grown in the US, I just don't think CA is necessarily the best place to grow it all and I don't think indoor growing is frivolous at all. I think it's brilliant.

yeah of course. I just think the zone thing could totally work as there are plenty of places that are very remote and the likelyhood someone being a douche and doing that is low.

but that indoor/outdoor idea sounds like it could work very well. especially if it had 180 degree sun exposure.

and shit, if anything they could make a fence and have the cannabis farm start 7 miles away . sure costs a lot more but guarantee's no robberies or corrupted crops.

Still, there's the issue of feral hemp. It doesn't follow rules, and nobody wants their smoke crop to mingle with feral hemp.
