Some of them do, yours make me think that you like to touch girls private parts which is cool by me. Arrid seems like one fugly dude....lol. Say if you read someones post and there was an aggressive looking black dude in it, then the guy posting came across as being a strong personality would this alter your perception.

yea when i first came to the site fdd told me my avatar pissed him off..its changed a few times since then but i usually dont pay that much attention to them.

I guess it might, but I'm not sure. The pirateguy has an avatar like you described but I can't say that it affected me, I've had a couple nice long PMs with him. I guess I would have to say yes though, I'm human and certain things intimidate me. Like copwhite, not his avatar but the screen name makes me scared of him.
