hi everyone im new to this forum and have a few questions for you.. im sorry if my english isnt the best but i try hard in writing in english..

first of all let me just give you a background in my weed smoking experience.. i started smoking with 17y, im making 20 in july and compared to most of you i didnt smoke that much, but i guess thats not a real problem..

the real problem imo is that im from brazil and the weed is just too damn shitty.. its really really compressed and doesnt smell like a plant at all, much less marijuana.. its too dry and when you get in great quantities (50g = 1.7oz) the dealers just get a solid block of a squared shape, brown and dry weed to you... now the thing that will shock you the most is how it costs.. its WAYY too cheap, so we cant even complain that we pay too much for a bad weed...


wherever you get the stuff, the price almost always is R$ 1 per gram.. that means its HALF A DOLLAR per GRAM of green.. so that (50g = 1.7oz) would cost 25usd... you can get better weed but its rare and it costs like R$ 3 per gram, 1,5 usd.. the point is that its really cheap but it delivers, i dont know how or why but it does get you stoned..

with this in mind i would like to know is if there is a way and is it worth to grow cannabis without the pro stuff like you see in those books.. i dont want some incredibly nice and smelly and potent weed, just a bud for a change!! not that cow shit mixed with fern... i never ever smoked a nice clean bud, the best i could get was a cleaner weed and some low grade hash..

now to my second question..
this year i moved to argentina with my parents and im missing a lot smoking with my friends.. i smoked 1 time here with some guys i got to know, but thats it.. im going to brazil this winter in july, and it will complete 3 months exactly since my last puff, do you have any idea of how much time does weed take to get to zero tolerance in your body.. i used to smoke a lot especially in this summer but i like the idea to smoke now and then so i can get the most out of it always.. but i dont want to waste time NOT smoking when i could get 100% high..

when i moved i was like a month and a half without smoking and it hited me pretty hard even though i didnt smoked a lot.. maybe some researchers could do a graphic to demonstrate how much time does the average person takes to become a virgin toker again...

the hash we get here is like R$15 per gram, U$7,5.. but im pretty sure they put some shit in it like shoe polisher or even crack..

For your first question, of course! I guarantee that you could plant a few, and grow better weed than what you're getting. I don't know much about the growing season down there, but I'm sure that you could find the information that you're looking for on here.

As for your second inquiry, it takes about a month to get completely clean.

you english is fine bro, as good as anyone who gets blasted before they type away questions and awnsers. im stunned about how cheap your weed comes in brazil. even for the cheapest shwigity shwag dirt mids where i live its hard to talk the guy down to 100 usd for an ounce. your were getting almost twice as much for half the price! i wouldnt comlain about the quality, just roll blunts the size of a babys arm. or like splff said get a disel bong to get the best hits for your dollar.

to your first question; yes where theres a will theres a way. if you plant it it will grow, you just need some knowlage to get it to grow and be better than the cheap stuff youve seen. and RIU is the best place to lern from experenced pros. hold out till you find some decent bagseeds or better order some seeds of incredible weed online. read up on growing and law and lights and the basic questions people ask on this site all the time. once you know your shit, you should be able to grow some dank buds. so many people grow their own weed out of necesity

your second question; your tolerence should be fine. ive been having the worst problem with tolerence because its like i couldnt get away from weed if i tried. before i went on a one week tolerence break (which lasted three days) i had so much bomb weed evry day it was like i didnt know what to do with it. i would smoke 5-9 blunts a day, some to my face, and sometimes feel like i was smoking a cigar, i just couldnt get hight, so i would smoke more and more and more. now i stoped picking up so much bud, take a few days off once and a while and i actually get HIGH! off a couple of hits, of WHATEVER! after three months you should get high like a first time virgin, i only wish i could go that long =P

i have been reading and watching some videos about the art of growing and i think when the right oportunity come i wont miss it..

i know what you´re talking about kaleo, you usually get kinda high from the first weed of the day and then you´re just smoking to smoke, for the sake of it, not really getting high or anything..

the good thing is that last year i went to the university in the morning, had lunch and worked the rest of the day till 9PM so there wasnt any time to smoke.. so i just smoked in weekends and i think it was the best thing for me at the time.. that 5 day break every week was just the right time i needed to eliminate the thc and get really high again.. and since i worked on saturdays too it was the magical herb that kept me going..

edit: i forgot you asked.. well i dont have much reference here in argentina, i asked the guy who owned the weed we were smoking and he pays (60 "pesos"= R$33 = U$16) for (20g=0.7oz), its a bit more expensive and i didnt noticed much difference in terms of quality!!

The price is like :
50 shekels = like 10 Euro/ 12 $ = like 6-8 cigarets ( depends on a dealer again :P ) = If I remember correctly , its weight is up to 10-12 grams.

hmm U$1/1g is pretty cheap for any grade of hash, if its a nice one its a real bargain..
