Who do you admire here at RIU?

At the top of my list is Al B. Fuct.
When it comes to FACTUAL, Informative posts about Hydro growing, you can not do any better thant he advise from Al B Fuct! I had to buy and use 4 65s, 4 85s and 4 105 watt CFLS to get buds that he told me I could not get with CFLs.
Al knows his grows. He taught many of us to VEG and BLOOM in two week cycles to get a perpetual harvest. And if you ever wanted a lecture on KNOW BEFORE YOU GROW, then ask him a dumb newbie question.

And PotRoast! Not just a very friendly poster and informative member, he knows his DWC as well as anyone.


And, there is Fdd2blk. No, I am not a soil or outdoor grower, but he persuaded me or talked me out of doing small SOG grows and letting that little girl grow up before inducing 12/12. Three years ago he told me, "does it make sense for a 10 year old immature girl to get pregnant and have babies? They will be weak, immature deformed babies. Well, it don't make sense to throw a 2 week old plant into BLOOMING either." And he's a fair Judge on the bench, when it comes to Moderatin too.


And Uncle Ben knows more about Topping, Pruning and Fimming than anyone else here. He's a very helpful member and poster here.


And there are Members like MyGirls, and Twisty Man that try to visit many of the new UNANSWERED THREADS, just to be helpful to newbies.

Know of any others here that deserve regognition and praise?

AND Purp Daddy, Major Tom, Home Grown Hairy, Jonnybtreed, Mostly Crazy are very helpful posters too.

I rarely ever venture out of the Toke and talk section, but my favorite people here are Canadiancyote, gogrow, fdd2blk, skiskate, dwr, Cannabolic, and alot of other people in T&T that I can't think of right now.

I usually dont post much out of toke n talk, but i do however read the grow journals quite a bit as I get this years grow under way. I've learned alot of info from the faq too.

All those people that you listed are great sources of information, and they have helped me through different threads of theirs. And you're posts on making hash have been very informative so your definitely one too!

my list is extremely long.... people/riu goes through phases.... some of the people on my list just lurk in the background now; whereas before, they were very prominent members here... some are not here at all anymore, and some have proved themselves to be assholes (arent here anymore either)....

i do have to name fdd though... without him i wouldnt have joined the site... his was one of the first grows i found here... i was hooked...... and despite being a nazi moderator, he's a pretty cool guy when you get to know him...

most of the people that stand out in my mind are the older ones that most people now wouldnt recognize... filthy fletch, mogie, caligrown, tahoe, etc..

but i love ALL of you guys... just trying to adjust my stoner mind to all the new names

I would have to say Fdd for obvious reasons, stoney and canadian coyote. I also miss panhead, very informative as well as opinionated but very entertaining nonetheless.Lampshade has also been very helpful for noobs and vets alike.

I should include Mogie as well. FilthyFletch also added a lot to this site.


And for patience and growing Sativa, JonnyBtreed.


And GypsyBush goes out of his way to be very helpful here.

I enjoy talking to everyone. Everyone is pretty cool, and open for the most part. I talk to Ski whenever he's around. GoGrow. Just because I think we'd get high and end up talking about chicks all night. Louis pretty cool. Sunnysideup is cool. There are a few people that make RIU pleasurable.
