Also I think a united states doctor/hospital would have tried to diagnose you. I never heard that doctor wasting his time thing down here but then again they get payed like $200 an hour so might as well find out whats wrong with your patients.

i told the doctors to do anything like that .. i will even go to toronto or something but nope

Jamaican, how else can I respond but to say, "what kind of doctor has to read EIGHT MRI's before diagnosing?" I find it hard to believe that would happen. ANY neurologist KNOWS WHAT MS is.......ANY neurologist. Some do specialize in it, yet every single last neurologist is trained to properly diagnose. And you said TWO? Something just doesn't sit right here.
Look......I was diagnosed with MS.......by ACCIDENT. I don't wish to elaborate on every last detail, but I will say that once I was told it was a definite prognosis, I asked my doctor------who shared the results of both the MRI and the spinal tap via the phone---------the only words that could come from my mouth were, "so, I'm not a hypochondriac?" She adamantly replied, "No, you are definitely not." I went numb in every sense of the word. My reply......
"God, I was TRULY hoping for that diagnosis."
The mind is a VERY powerful tool. If you convince yourself you are doomed because of an incurable disease, your mind will control your body.....no doubt about that.
I'm going to end this by saying that if your symptoms actually WERE due to MS, they positively would have shown on your MRI. You would have experienced what is known as a relapse.......and as many times as you say you have had this happen, it is just impossible that it would NOT show on an MRI.
You need to follow up with another doctor, but not the counselor. You are young and likely the diagnosis is more in line with post-traumatic stress. Again, the mind is the most powerful tool.

Just please understand that I'm not attempting to undermine your symptoms......I don't even have symptoms like that. I hope to God a doctor never tells you it's even remotely possible.
Just please.....don't work yourself up to believe that you do when science dictates otherwise. Yes, science has its fallacies.....yet time and time again, a person given an MRI with contrast--and numerous "relapses"----it's going to show on an MRI......SOMEWHERE.
That being said, I would DEMAND another MRI in another year.
And BTW, stress can kill a person. You are young.....stay postitive.

thanks for all the advice man it really helps. im def gona try to get more test done .

im not really stressed about school and stuff . just that what ever this is is taking me away from things. i go one day at a time

God Bless Jamaican....and when and if you do have another MRI ordered and it's not ordered WITH a contrast......DEMAND one.
