I just got this job at a new cafe in my area and it's great. The owner smokes and he's always there so I can't get fired. Does anybody else get high before work and if so what kind of work do you do?

Ya I smoke everyday before work, at lunch, and any other time I can sneak a 1 hit in.. I think I work better. It's easier to concentrate. My job duties depend on the day. I work at a place that manufactures heavy duty exhaust for semis, buses, and other types of equipment. I do everything from CAD drawings to IT management, CNC trouble shooting, Weld fixture assembly and thats just off the top of my head.

Nope, not unless I'm doing something that requires little to no hard work. I smoke weed to be completely relaxed when I get home from a hard days work. I drive a van around all day delivering secure company information around. Can't do that when I'm stoned.

I think its cool to get stoned at work... but only if you do a job that you can not injure yourself or anybody else..... ie. construction. things to do with power tools etc.

But office jobs and harmless jobs... yeah no problem.. would make your dull day more enjoyable

I think getting stoned at work otherwise would be a bit like drink driving, you know your not sober enough, but you can still drive okay.... but if something happens and something bad happens to you or somebody else... are you going to be able to live with the fact that it MAY... have been avoided if you were straight...?

Use with discretion and responsibility in the workplace imo

Well I have an hour before work and I just wake n baked... So yes. I have brownies for lunch. =D

And I work around the DEA and Sheriff. =X

Sometimes. I usually don't, but this week I have everyday it seems. If I smoke before work I'm usually ready to leave within an hour or two, so I try not to to keep my interest.

hell ya i smoke before work, i do customer service and id rather be high at work than not. its pretty lame if i dont smoke. i try to smoke before work, at lunch, and rite when i get off lol

Yeah, I have always smoked before work. As long as you dont over do it you'll be fine. Maybe dont smoke more than a few hits when yor learning there system/cash regeister, or going through trainning. If you have a hard time retaining info as it is. I worked as a tile setter for 4 years, Car wash manager for a year, Masonry, Pizza delivery-2 years, Shipping clerk-2 years, Forklift Driver, Graveyard resturant cook, Dishwasher... and more... haha I move around alot. anyways, especially if you work in customer service, its good to smoke to deal with all the fucking assholes that are never happy. You'd be surprised what bad vibes rub off on ya. Make brownies to eat during luck!!!
