Ok i have posted something similar to this before but i am reposting again because i have had a bit of a revolution.

When i posted "Spin" last time i was shunned, people said "why would you put tobacco with the sweet taste of weed" and my answer is this. I THINK it gets you higher, THINK being the basis to this thread.

I want YOU to take the test with me! I don't smoke that much weed, never had a cigarette and im trying to steer away from tobacco but my friends insist that we spin our weed with tobacco for cones and Doob's....what do you think?

Take the test!
For every 1g of bud add one cigarette of spin.
Also try
For 1g of bud ad about a cigarette worth of Damiana or Mugwort.
Then compare it to a doob of straight bud.
Try and make sure it all come from the same dealer/plant

Tell me what you think, does it get you higher? Is it that different?

I have been keen to know this for a while because i dont smoke that often i dont really get to compare that much.

So please for the sake of my experiment try this method and post your results.

It's what we do in the UK, it's to make sure the weed burns properly.

What you are experiencing as a "better high" is purely Head rush off of the tobacco, mixed with a feeling of being high.

BUT, i think that even after the rush of tobacco you are higher. My only rational thought could be that the tobacco helps carry THC to your blood stream.
You guys call it Spliff in the UK right? I'm in AU and its considered the only way to smoke.

its not only in the U.K people do that all other Europe because it does get you higher.

It doesnt get you higher, unless it had more thc or cannabinoids (sp?) in it then it isnt going to get you higher. However it does give you that nice headrush that makes you feel pretty good for around 30 mins.

My understanding of spin is to help the weed burn better also....

The chemicals help to burn and offer a higher burn temperature point which also helps to eliminate excess resin being left in the cone piece.... less stoking

Most stoners I know are also smokers, so the hit of nicotine is more comfortable on the lungs due to its nature thus reducing the chances of coughing from irritation....

Also... lol.... Weed drops your blood pressure to the best of my knowledge which is what makes you green out sometimes or feel light headed.... by adding spin (which raises blood pressure) you effectively balance the blood pressure back up....

And last but not least, it is always fun having somebody you dont like or somebody that talks up their cone punching abilities all the time by packing them a tight 'Baccie' cone half way through a mix and watching them cough their guts up... + +=

if I would have seen this yesterday I would have done your test ! But I kind of done everything together, first done 2 mini bongs then my mate said let's have a joint , which we havnt had one in ages and I was soooo high after that, could have been the head rush but I don't know, was good eitherway haha. Not that anyone cares but I hit my first big bong last night, was soooo good , I'm going to invest in one myself hehe

maybe it's all psycho-sematic?

Every time I've had tobacco after weed it feels like it takes my high to my body but turns down the potency a bit.
